Little Hands: Paint Dabbers

Another super, super easy DIY tool…..this paint dabber (easier for Little Hands to hold) is made up of a wrapping paper roll, leftover floral mesh stuff, cotton balls and duct tape. You can always substitute the floral mesh stuff I used for the mesh of a clementine/produce bag or use any other textured material for a printmaking experience. I simply wrapped a small handful of cotton balls in the mesh and duct taped it to the tube. I did put tape on the tube ends before I wrapped it so 1) the cotton balls wouldn’t fall into the tube and 2) the other end looked more finished. Theoretically, the dabbers will get put in paint and then the children will dab/brush/smoosh/anything we can get on the paper.
